Good deal on 360 elite?

Thread Starter
I got a guy through CL to sell me a 360 Elite 120GB, 2 Games, and a controller all for $120 CAD.

What do you guys think? Decent deal?

I also have to buy XBL, another controller, a charger, and a wifi adapter.

Otherwise, I think I got a decent deal.

Yeah it is. 2nd controller and charger aren't really needed but for you, its your choice.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. What model is it? the newer Jasper?

Technically you don't "have" to have XBL if you don't care about online stats. I make a new account every month for Halo Reach but that only for another few weeks trying to sell my xbox.

How do I know if it's the Jasper or Falcon?

I only briefly played on it, a 24" Tube TV isn't cutting it. I will buy a 32" or 40" 1080p HDTV soon.

I believe you can check the wattage on the power brick. Here. I googled this just now.

I just wanted a gaming system that I could play with friends and family on.

Yeah i believe it's a falcon, it reads 175W on the brick

EDIT: yes it's a falcon, no storage after removing HDD

EDIT2: I know it seems weird to buy a console, given my rigs capabilities, however I wanted something more "gaming friendly" in the way of, having friends come over to play multiplayer and etc.

It's a whole different experience in my opinion than playing online via PC.
