Is that an old evaporator you have there on the ground? If it is you can make one hell of a water chiller with it and a few other bits. Or use it as you rad, you wont get better.
Cool stuff so far, Subbed

Hi guys, sorry for not updating in a while, but we had a holiday over here and all sorts of stuff biggrin.gif
Anyways, I've got the 24pin sleeved (finally), and I'll probably only do the 8pin CPU power and one 6pin pci-e, because these are the only ones that will be exposed.. I really don't have time to be a super-duper perfectionist even though I want to frown.gif
2h5kupv.jpg
The colour is like in the old pictures, only that my room had really bad lighting because it's dark here..

I was in the workshop today, planning how I'm going to make the 360 fit IN THE TOP OF THE CASE, and how I'm going to make the shroud..
Let me make a VERY NICE PICTURE in paint to show what the layout is gonna be.
34e9s0k.jpg
(that came out REAL nice)
Red is HDD, it will fit in the front plastic part. The front is going to be solid, because it helps to make a sensible airflow configuration. Green is the PSU, exhausting towards the observer of this fine picture, with the wires neatly hidden. I will have to make a radiator holder on the top because there's that silly 140mm hole... I'll make a very small reservoir to house my pump in.

Wow, I'm really tired and stuff but I'll sleeve the 8pin and 6pin shortly, paint the psu white, not install the grill, and hopefully it will look cool. The hole for the PSU cord will be relocated to the back of the case, and I'll make a switch for my pump..

A LOT of work to do, but I am doing my best..
And yes, it's an old evaporator coil smile.gif I used it as my WC radiator so far, but it is awfully restrictive. My uncle lives next door and he works with AC unit building and restoration, so I might be going subzero some time biggrin.gif

Sorry for no updates in TWO WEEKS :O

I was on holiday, and it was warm, and.. I had other stuff to do besides mod my case.
Anyways, now the 8pin, 24pin and the 6pin cables are sleeved, I still have to cut off some unnecessary cables inside the psu, as I don't need some of them.
Dremeled off the grill of the PSU, it was ugly as.. I'm going to replace it with a piece of the front grill, as I won't be using the front grill anymore.
I'll probably start cutting the cable management holes, but First I'll have to sort out how I'll place the pump and HDD.
I'll try to update soon! Thanks for being even a tad interesting in my mod wink.gif

@AMD955: I won't put it anywhere, only use it when I install windows, but I don't mind having the case side open for a few hours.

I test painted the PSU covers, but the outcome was pretty horrible, the paint felt dry and cracked off. I think the coats were a bit too thin, and the paint didn't get to make a proper coat.. I'll try to dremel cable management holes this week, but right now the PSU sleeving and cutting off unnessecary cables is taking up most of my time..

I think your pictures aren't all loading up. The only pic i saw in your thread is this 34e9s0k.jpg

Idk if im the only one having this problem, but I think tinypic is having a hard time loading up your pictures....I had the same problem with tinypic, so i switched to photobucket which works very well. It's what im using atm.

edit: btw I think white would be nice....thinking if i should do the same, but i hate spray paint they get easily scratch...powder coat would be nice hmmmm.
