LulzSec hits the CIA - anti-jihad hacktivist taunted in the process

While most of the east coast was heading home from work, LulzSec aimed the port-side cannons on the LulzBoat at the website of the CIA. For just over an hour on Wednesday, with sporadic outages afterwards, the U.S. intelligence hub simply ceased to exist.

Explaining that the CIA takedown was for the “lulz”, LulzSec used the action to taunt a known hacktivist who goes by the name of th3j35t3r (The Jester). Jester is the persona responsible for targeted attacks on Islamic extremist websites, especially those who promote Jihad. In addition, he is the one responsible for a DDoS attack on WikiLeaks last year....
