the only downside with a air cooler is the SIZE!!! my frio is almost half the size of my mobo, it's ridiculous...

i'd say definitely hold out to see some reviews on the h80, looks promising at least...

The H50/60/70/80/100 are not good cost : performance wise.

The ONLY reason (in my opinion) to buy one, is SPACE or looks.

Do yourself a favor and just spend 30$ a hyper 212, or 50$ on a mugen 3 and call it a day.

Yeh, money isnt really a factor for the components in the build especially the important ones such as cooler....but the performance is supposed to be great according to reviews ive read...

Yehh that why i dont want a AIR they are ugly in a cool way and performance doesnt match water, and i think the H series is the midpoint

Actually high-end air coolers outperform the H50/H60. But they are large in size and can be a pain to install.

Edit: The H100 looks promising since its a dual rad. Lots of potential. Plus it would look great in the Phantom (i have one ). I am wondering if I should get it when it comes out....

If you are willing to drop 150$ on a "water" cooler that performance wise is really only a 50$ air cooler, then I highly recommend picking up a XSPC RX240 or 360 kit... This will give you A LOT better performance and allow expandability to graphic cards ect in the future.

actually, it's been proven many times that a top notch air cooler will out perform an h70. thermalright silver arrow and noctua nh d14 for example. but again, they are gigantic and pretty ugly imo, lol...

i'm a bit anal when it comes to looks, and if you're like me, then water is definitely the way to go, and the h series is a good compromise between performance and looks

i would mate
but they are fulll kits and that bring in the added fear or leaking or me making a mistake putting it together and if im honest i dont like the look of water as much

my guess is the h80 will be a better performer, like i said before, it has a better pump unit. but by how much, that's the question. also i like the new square cpu block design more than the round one on the h70

Im with you on that one mate, though round isnt bad i dont think it belongs in a PC, square would be much more fitting =]
