I wouldn't personally seek out a system and specifically buy a Physx card, but if anyone has a GTX460 or what have you it's a nice little thing to throw together and use.

Please let's not trash Physx just because we used AMD GPU's or because our NVidia card can't run it. It's a good little API and really does add to the effects of a title. Batman Arkham Asylum for a start
I personally disagree.
I used to use my 8800GT for dedicated PhysX, but found it sitting unused 99% of the time. Yeah, it did nothing but suck up extra power and produce extra heat.

Why was it sitting unused? Well, I don't spend all my computer time gaming, and most of my games don't utilize PhysX.
Flying paper in Batman AA was fun to poke around with for a few minutes, but the charm quickly wore off.

*Btw, PhysX without a dedicated card caused a very noticeable performance drop--especially in Mafia II

I personaly love Physx. It adds a whole lot to the eye candy. More and more games use it.
