You failed to mention the PSU used.

I Have a Corsair TX650w psu which is more than enough. My computer is working with my previous motherboard. I was probably just unlucky to get a board with a shoddy capacitor...

Its currently on its way back to gigabyte so they can see its fail and bring out the next revision tongue.gif so possibly wait or risk it blowing up on you.
Please let me know if there is any further info from the mfg.

I am building systems using the GA-990FXA-UD7 and found your post while trying to find info on the power requirements of the board.

My systems will have multiple AMD HD 6990 GPU cards and I was trying to do the math on the MB power requirements ... no luck finding that info as yet.

I would like to know as much about your configuration and the mfg of the components in order to avoid the same problem that you had.

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks
