Thanks for the reply

Well, it's come down to the TY-140s or AP140s... Maybe I'd rather use an Antec Kühler 920... Or the Noctua NH-D14... But I'm afraid, the Noctua would ruin the looks of the PC, because I'll get a Raven RV03 case soon :S

I would say TY-140s, I have seen a lot of positive things from it. The AP140 I have not heard a lot about. I have not had any of then so I can help to much .

Good choice of case by the way one of the best air cooling you can get .

Yeah, I figured that with the case

I do think I'd rather take the Noctua NH-D14... I mean, it's cheaper for me, and has better performance/fans

Well if you are getting one of the best air cooling cases then get one of the best heatsinks either Noctua or the silver arrow .

I hear they preform the same so get the one you like the looks better or is cheaper. I am not sure if I am right thought

Out of those 10, TY-140
just remember it's a PWM 4 pin
I would also note the Yate Loon D14SL's from the same site
cheaper, not quite as powerful as the Thermalright's-but should work well and fairly quiet.

Why no Prolimatech Vortex?

Look at this review. Some expensive fans didn't do so hot. Also, I tested some 140mm fans on my heatsink in item 4 in my sig.

TY-140's are all-around the best 140mm fans, and they're PWM. But because of their extended frame they fit oddly on Prolimatech products. Look carefully at pics of the Genesis fan clips and the TY-140 frame.

I just discovered last night to my chagrin that my 1200 rpm Slip Stream 140 / Kaze Maru 2 clicks when undervolted. My Kaze Maru fans don't click when undervolted. So if you're intending to vary the fanspeed get KM's not KM2's.

To extend the life of sleeve bearing fans like KM's and YL's, see item 3 in my sig.

Definately the Noctua. It's way cheaper here in Denmark atm

Well, I wanted the Vortex, but they aren't in stock anywhere I can get them

I know of the Yate Loons. Fairly good performance

Thanks for all the input, guys/girls! I'll rep you all (could kinda sound like something else, right? )

But I think we can close this thread now, because I'm gonna go for a Noctua NH-D14 instead. Better performance than the Genesis and Antec Kühler 920, and here, it's a lot cheaper

Plus, in the Raven RV03 case, it's practically designed for it

Many reviews show it has one of the best noise/airflow ratios. and its basically silent. I cant hear mine and im 2.5 feet away.

should note though, it has 120mm mounting holes but a 140mm overall dia.

Edit: just saw you're goin with the D14. consider the silver arrow too... =) comes with 2 ty140s so you basically get a $40 heatsink and $40 worth of fans
