What do yall think of Sager?

Thread Starter
Recently I tried to use a Macbook Pro, but in the end I returned due to noise, heat, and some other issues.

I have the money to spend on a really nice laptop. I'd like it to do some decent gaming, and battery life isn't as important since I'm connected to power 99% of the time. I do, however; use it as my main computer for work, school and home usage.

I've done the PC at home and Laptop on the road thing for a while, but I'm kinda tired of having to move files back and forth and would rather just have everything with me when I take the laptop to work.

I've been looking at Sager laptops and wanted to know if anyone had any thoughts on them? I'm interested in the NP8150-S1, the top of the line 15" they sell. 15" is perfect for travel and at home I'd use my 28" monitor.

Is there any place to buy Sager laptops that would accept bill me later? I'd rather not put my purchase on a standard credit card.

Thanks for your help!

Sager is very well respected here form what I have read. Do a search on the model you are looking at and you should find plenty of information. I see Xoticpc mentioned as a vendor a lot, not sure if they do billmelater though.

Yeah, it appears that none of the Sager vendors use bill me later. I wonder how loud these are when gaming?

Hey man,

I'm typing this on a Sager NP8130 w/GTX 560m. Great laptop. Heat gets around 70c at load while gaming, and the fans aren't insanely loud. You hear them of course, but when you have game sound on, I find I don't notice much or at all.

i have an older 8130 with the 460M and i love it but last week it died on me while just idle but it might have been because of a faulty power adapter... anyways... i got it from xoticpc and without question they are doing an RMA and even sent me a shipping label so that is pretty good service if you ask me.
