So... Crysis 2 removed from Steam NOT because of 'Origin' but because they would like to be the worldwide leader in digital publishing, right? Lol.

wow, took us 14 pages to figure this one out.

EA wanted to be the leader, so they figured out how to get steam to remove crysis 2. Here is the crazy move, EA has left crysis 2 up for digital download on impulse, gamestop, amazon, Direct2drive. That is one crafty way to worldwide leader in publishing.

EA and Activision aren't (generally) devs. It's not the place of a publisher to make gamers happy and cater to them. Their job is to make money. This means pushing themselves on gamers as far as they can before they get any serious backlash/boycotting. Unfortunately, if there is a developer that thrives on popularity and reputation, it doesn't have nearly as much money to compete with EA/Activison.
