Mark sent me a completely off item.
He laughed at the messup on his back office.. said i could keep it, and had a new one rushed out immediately.

the 20% restocking fee is a given.
You check and double check b4 u finalize..

Frozen cpu will fix there messup, but not yours.

While the OP admitted to making the mistake, FrozenCPU has issues sending correct fitting and tubing size. They are normally quick to fix the issue, but after the sixth time of sending me the wrong size tubing, I just order from someone else. Just gets old.

And this is what happen he rub me the wrong way and i'm sure I did the same. It was my fault and I take full responsibilty for ordering the wrong parts.

I did not try to hide the fact I open one. All I wanted was exchange not even a refund untill he refuse to take the open one. It's a clamp I had the package for total of 10 mins before I called.

Heck I could glue it back made it look unopen but then I would had to lie and thats not worth it.

If you go to Frys and find you can't even find a high-end, factory sealed GPU, you know why they charge restocking fees. Cost of mistake

Really this was so minor for 1 clamp and 4 bucks but what if it was $100? If 24.00 bucks mean that much to them what will happen when is alot more? IDK and I'm not going to find out.
There's a bit of a difference between a $200 defective part and a $200 misordered part. I lost $60 @Newegg on my last video card order because I ordered the HD version on accident (non-standard PCB layout).

Which it totally honorable. That should count for somthing, but in the numbers game, honor has no place. Thats why buisness is a crappy deal sometimes.

Mark is definitely the type of person who rubs people the wrong way. He did with me, and I started out being really nice to him.

But when you are never wrong and all your customers are idiot children what do you expect?

This post is for newbies like me.... Who might make a bigger mistake.

My point was it's 4.00 CLAMP with a tiny 1/8 rip in top of the bag nothing but little bit glue could have fix. AND yes you are right they will replace defective part but thats it on water cooling parts..

Perhaps I'm missing something big but where is the fault of FrozenCPU here? You ordered the wrong item, you opened one of them, and then you want to return them. Restocking fees are there for a reason. You used their time to box and ship the product and then restock, change inventory, and check for damages as well as repackage any items. Why shouldn't you pay a restocking fee?

Just because other companies (and even, gasp, FrozenCPU) will sometimes waive a restocking fee is no excuse for getting your panties in a bunch when they don't. These situations are EXACTLY why companies have restocking fees.
