Last night, I updated my firmware and started to download something from the shopping channel. I accidentally pressed the power button and the system turned off. Now I get this error message everytime I turn the system on:

"An error has occurred. Press and hold the Power Button to turn the system off. Please see the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for help troubleshooting."

My system isnt under warranty. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it.

Some options I have are:

1) Sell the broken system, but it goes for $30 on ebay (ha!)
2) Get system repaired by Nintendo, but its $85+tax
3) Buy a new motherboard on ebay ($65)
4) Get motherboard repaired by some ebay user ($35)
5) Get a quote from a local repair shop (unknown if they can do it at all)
6) Use my old DS Lite, buy used DSi, or buy new 3DS lol

Thanks.

Edit (6/30) I called Nintendo and they said a number of DSi units have the same problem so Ill get a free repair and a new 1 year warranty!
