Intel e2160 OC'd to 2.9ghz but back to 1.8 now - Page 2

Ok when I enable host control the memory frequency goes to 800 1328, this is fsb set at 332, should I start small like at 222 or jump straight to 332

edit*

I set fsb at 222, I'm at 1.9ghz right now, did NOT change any voltages or anything else, only changed fsb. Memory frequency was at 800 888.
Should I run a stress test with Orthos when I get the 2.4 ish mark?

haha can you explain this? Are you referring to the difference between the memory frequency numbers? theres no other reference to memory divider in the bios. Does it have to be a 1:1 ratio?

yes. On the setting "System Memory Multiplier", change that so that the number directly below it is as close to 800mhz as possible. If it is close to 900mhz, increase the ram voltage to 2v.

Ok, RAM Voltage = DDR2 Voltage in the BIOS picture right?

I'm at 2.4 ghz approx. How long do you recommend running orthos? 12hrs? Should I do it after every increase or once I hit 2.9.

I think once I hit 2.9 I should give it a nice run just once. Since I was at 2.9 anyways before it went back to stock for some reason. What do you think?

Hmm. You said it hit almost 3ghz without trouble right? go for 2.8 and slowly work your way up. How i do it is that i just make my settings and see if the system makes it to POST. if it does, then i make the next tweak and then try again. When it finally stops working, i back down to the last setting that worked and then stress test it. If it passes, then i start tweaking it and test again. Once i cant do it any more, i do the final stress test that us much longer than normal, and once it passes that then i am set.
