Nope it'll be fine so don't worry. Just keep your eyes on the temp as i wouldn't let it runs hot for a long period of time. Hot here imo is 85+C range.

There are lots of people on here who fold (100% cpu usage 24 hours a day), just make sure your keeping your temps within the recommended operating range and you should be fine.

ok also the load varies i have it on that speedstep thing, and it keeps going back and forth with the clock and voltage, will it damage it when it keeps doing this? it seems to literally go back and forth every few seconds but it does seem to keep temps down

also, why do people fold? random question

nope.
i run mine 24 hrs a day some times at 70-80% folding and stuff. and ive been folding since 2010.

well i GPU fold, but its still CPU demanding i guess.
