Best possible router for $200 or less.

I'm looking to replace my current router that I'm renting from my network provider.

I want it to be future proof, superior WiFi for gaming and able to manage heavy traffic and of course good WiFi range.

The only one I've found so far is

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124415&cm_re=router-_-33-124-415-_-Product

Has anyone tried that one or recommend anything else?

I live on a college campus and live in an apartment with 4 other gamers. There are usually 4+ gaming or streaming connections at all times, and this thing is yet to get bogged down. This thing is a beast. Full recommendation here. Also, the firmware on it has just as many options as DD-WRT, which is very handy.

Linkysys is usually pretty solid. I would go for it.

Best possible? Build your own.... it could be done for less than $200 if you have other spare parts.

I was actually just thinking to like.. buy a complete ready to run router, but I'll definitely this this out later.

Anyone else has something to say before I buy the Linksys one?
