Demo aka unpatched finished product preview. It might not be the card. Does it happen in any other game?

It's a full version retail steam copy.

Second edit:

Okay i have it fixed i did a restore factory defaults on catalyst control centre and it seemed to have fixed the visuals up as well. If you run into my problem, try this, thank you.

Had the exact same issue with the retail. Resetting the catalyst control center to factory default worked for me too. Thanks, nice find.

This issue is caused by forcing Anti Aliasing in Catalyst Control Centre. Set Anti Aliasing to "Application Controlled".

It's a known issue and the latest 11.6 CAP1 addresses this.

I have the same graphics problem as Saq, and I have done all of the things that have been suggested but nothing has worked are there any other options that are available? I am using a ATI Radeon HD 4350 graphics card, with XP as my OS. i looked for updates to the game but there are none that are available.

Hey guys, first time here, longtime reader. I had the exact same issue this morning when I installed Dungeon Siege 3. I downloaded and installed the current Radeon 11.6 drivers and set the Anti Aliasing to program controlled. I restarted DS3...and it looks great. I also had same issue with Rift as I did with DS3. When I started DS3 and saw my character and lands in the game invisible I nearly panicked thinking my Asus G73j super rig video card was dying! I am glad I found this and thus far it worked. Make sure you reboot when you install/update the video driver.
Set the game to lowest settings and work your way up after setting the Catalyst Control Centre Anti-Aliasing to program controlled. Should work..hopefully.

Good luck all, this is an irritating little bug..luck and loot to you all!
