Cooler Master 212+ or not?

Thread Starter
I am running the original Scythe Infinity/Mugen cooler. There is a great deal on a 212+ plus and I was wondering if the 212+ would be any better since it has direct heat pipe contacts.

I am planning on going SB soon since I got a great deal on the 2600K (....) and the infinity doesn't have the mounting holes. I could get an adapter for $5.

Thanks.

I had Cm Hyper 212 and went from that to a TRUE (copper), I personally will never go back to direct heat pipe. The TRUE crushed the 212. Of course it should its a much better cooler. I really dont think you would see a temp improvement worth buying the 212 over current heat sink. Just my

Thanks for the input. I modded my infinity cooler too by cutting a section out in the middle. I can add a fan inside like the Mine version. It's just hard getting the mounting for the cooler. It's almost push pin with no backplate which is a major pain.

I'm also looking for those damn wire hangers to attached another fan.....
