Some help needed

Thread Starter
I need some advice, I want to overclock my Q6600 to ensure better FPS in games, I have a HD4870 1G DDR5 running at 790/1100 which is OK, but I believe the bottleneck is the CPU, a quad core at 2.4GHz 8MB cache.

Some advice on how its done or what I need?

If you have never tried to OC before i recommend this.

And download Prime95 to test if your stable.
