I seriously doubt that it would be capacitive. Basic ARM prototyping platforms with Android, a 4" Capacitive touchscreen, and with 512MB of storage go for $60.

Why doesn't the US government subsidize tablets for students. Bet digital copies of textbooks would save a lot of money for us -_-

Well, in college I had to buy at least three $600-$700 text books that I remember. Ussually I went through Amazon or bought used, but there were some classes that used a new book that was not used before. Though even the used ones were often quite pricey as well
