Overclockng CF6970's

Everytime I try going above the CCC limit clocks in MSI Afterburner, my computer gives me a BSOD.

I have recently formatted my C: partition, but I am still getting the same results (D: are just full of games).

Am I doing something wrong? Should I be using a different program?

You need to raise the voltage. What clocks are we talking?

It's a software conflict. Just don't go above CCC's limits without enabling Unnoficial Overclocking. Go into MSI AB Directory and edit the only cfg file under notepad. Change the value to 0 to 1 after "Enable Unnoficial Overclocking".

The blue screen is due to going above CCC's protocal safety limts.

As far as I know, my voltage are fine for the cards (as I was able to achieve 960/1450 before I installed the new drivers)

BradleyW: I am pretty sure I have done the cfg file part. I will try Afterburner tonight and restore my CCC overdrive settings to default first.
