H60 Fan Selection Help

Thread Starter
I plan on buying the H60 on newegg because it is currently the same price as the H50. Even though I heard it had a better fan than the H50 apparently it is still not very good. What fan do you guys recommend as a replacement for the stock one?

Any help is appreciated.

I heard it's an excellent fan. Unfortunately it is deactivated on newegg (where I buy almost all my stuff). Are there any other fans you would recommend?

PS: The motherboard I plan on buying is AM3+ (bulldozer ) and the H60 says it works on AM3, do you think it would still work with AM3+?

I just got an H60 and plan to run it with the Gelid Silent PWM fans in p/p:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-015-_-Product

Haven't tried it out yet so can't say if performance will be up to scratch (they're just 1500rpm). Otherwise I still have my CM Blade Master PWM fans I will use if the Gelids prove too weak...

I just kept the standard provided Corsair fan and whacked an Xigmatek on there for the looks.

Frozencpu still has the 3000, 4250, and 5400 rpm typhoons still in stock. Should I get one of those or would those be too fast (I don't know if it is possible to have fans that are too fast, i'm a n00b).

Push-pull?

Oh, and this ill be going in a 800d on the rear so because it's notorious for bad air cooling I want to go with powerful fans.
