Random Crashing

Thread Starter
I went to play some BC2 yesterday and a few minutes in I crashed with a black screen and looping sound. I upped my CPU voltage a bit and reset my GPU clocks to stock and still no dice.
This morning I did a clean video driver install which didn't help either.
It now crashes randomly, even when I'm not in game.

HALP?

Run prime 95 for 6 hours. You might have an unstable OC.

Sounds like that good old looping sound crash that many many BC2 players get.

Those of us that experienced the issue have tried anything and everything to stop the crashing issue. There is no consensus on what truly causes the problem, either. It seems to be random between several people.

One thing that seems to be working for me is the manually set BC2 to DX11 in the control panel. I don't think I've crashed since I've done that.

Are you using onboard audio or you got a soundcard?

I had lots of crashing with my previous soundcard.

I thought I fixed it yesterday by upping my GPU voltage a bit but the same problem is back again. Black screen, looping sound and my monitor seems to loose connection to my GPU.
