Ah...Because this is OCN. Just enough is not good enough here bud.

Plus, some games give you benifits to getting over 125 fps if you can...

hmm, maybe the game may be at fault then. the OP should try another game, and seeing as how you've already got the 590, you might as well keep it.

If he gets a 120Hz, a 2560x1600, or a third one of those ASUS monitors he has, then it won't be a waste anymore.

What a complete waste of money. Sorry I just couldn't keep my yapper closed on this one.
If I'm understanding the OP correctly, he's running two monitors that're both at 1920x1080, meaning he's playing at 3840x1080. In that case, the 590 would make a little more sense (though a 580 would've still been fine).

ahh yes, I didn't see that.

still, try another game and report back

Bad mouthing the mods is a sure way to get on one's "craplist". Sure some may be unfair, but keep in mind they are humans too.

On topic:
I support the vsync off argument.
1. Input lagg. I don't care what people say, but it all adds up. W/ my HDTV, if I have vsync on any game becomes unplayable.

2. Even though one's monitor may only be 60hz, having over 60fps can still affect game playability positively. Go start up something fast paced like quake 3 arena, lock the framerate @ 60, then turn off the framelimiter, you'll notice a difference more than likely.

3. In the event of a low framerate area in a game, what was jsut a slight slowdown now is cripplingly slowed downed and/or glitched because vsync has forced your framerate even lower to reduce screen tearing. 28 fps becomes 15. 57fps becomes 30, etc.

I cant understand why people buy 2gpu cards (no fence ). I mean the only reason is if you have 3 monitors and even then sli is better for perfomance and for low temps.

I dont think that he plays on 3840x1080 the most logical thing is to play on 1 monitor (1980x1080) and on the other one skype /msn /browser . You can't use both 2 monitors for gaming is unplayable
