AMD Turion 64 X2 mobile technology TL-60 / 2 GHz
Memory: 3 GB / 4 GB (max)
250 GB - Serial ATA-150 - 5400 rpm
15.4 in TFT active matrix Max Resolution 1280 x 800 ( WXGA )
Graphics Processor / Vendor ATI Radeon X1250

SOURCE

It was a $700 lappy when first made. I would go to your local repair guy and see if it even charges/turns on before purchasing anything. The repair guy should have a variety of chargers etc where one should work. Over all not a horrible unit as long as everything works. Got pics?

Umm he bought the laptop at a garage sale for $0.50...no charger.

Best to see if it is even able to take power by going to local repair guy. Just tell him where ya got it and I am sure that he would be just as excited to see if it still works as you.

*UPDATE*
So I wont have pictures up untill tomorow because I have dinner guests tonight however I will attempt to purchase the Charger and Take some Decent pictures by tomorow.

EDIT: I forgot to ask about capabilites of this laptop...
So the reason i got it was so that i could give it to my little bro for his bday at the end of July. I think that he only wants to do 3 things on it. 1: browse web 2: word processing 3: Play team fortress two
My question is will this laptop run it? and if so will it run it so that the game is playable?

Any and all responces prior and future are greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Well I haven't seen one repair shop that does free diagnostics without you repairing. Actually most that we know of charge diagnostics on top of the repair cost.

We certainly don't do free diagnostics, otherwise people would just come find out whats broken and try to fix it themselves. We're a business, not a public service. Basically we do a diagnostics fee that counts towards labor or part for the repair.

i used to work at a local pc shop and we usually would give them a free quote as to whats wrong with it before we did any repairs and if they said no to the quote it was absolutely free for them to come pick it back up.

Looking at the minimum specs, assuming he wont mind playing on at least min settings, Yes it will.

This is off of Steam:
Minimum: 1.7 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX® 8.1 level Graphics Card (Requires support for SSE), Windows® 7 (32/64-bit)/Vista/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

And according to a post the laptop has a ATI X1250 I think you will be able to turn on some eye candy.
