Thread Starter
This is my first post as i have been a lurker for a while so i figured i would share my newest build. So my Last i7 920 COmputer was a hybrid gaming rig / work rig. I wanted to build a dedicated gaming rig for upcoming BF3 and D3. I did a lot of looking around between the i5 2500k and the i7 2600k along with research about the HT and figured i would do the I7 Route. Below is my system. I am waiting for the UPS guy to come today to bring me everything but the ram which will be here next week. ( Stupid DHL ).

1x Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler
2x CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model

You sure that Noctua NH-D14 won't interfere with your CORSAIR Vengeance?

It will if you don't remove the heatsink from the ram. :-)

very well done! 10/10 cable management.

only critique i have about the rig is that the colors scheme is way off. noctua fans sorta destroy the color scheme but i guess their performance is what does the talking right off the bat, it's the blue text on the 580 & huge amount of brown that really bug me.
you could do a simple paint job or add some lighting to the rig to make things easier on the eyes. after all, that's what huge windowed side panels are for ^^

yeah! if you're passionate about the aesthetics you could devote a day or two to spray painting the fans. the gtx580 is probably better off left alone unless of course, you decide to smack on a watercooling block on it
