frist of all i upgrade from a m4 board and i had my be 955 over clocked to 3.86ghz i could have gone higher but anyways moveing on thanupgrade to this board and i can bearley can get it to 3.6ghz and when i run prime my core stops but like after 12 mins so i know im close of getting it stable i ahve tryed eveything poping my vcore up to 1.45 that didnt work so i poped it up to 1.5 well that didnt work and i even tryed 1.55 vcore and still nothing i have tryed turning on my tup and epu still nothing and not jsut taht core one min my 1 core some times its the 4core some times its 123 and so on its never the same but when i go back to stock i can run prime for 8hrs no errorsthis are my setting right know as i speak cpu bus/ peg frequency is 233 memory is on 1552 ddr3 1600 cpu load line calibration is at high cpu/nb manual voltage is 1.2500 and the dram is at 1.5000 and still nothing i also tryed to over clock with that trubo evo crap and i can get to 3.7 ghz i know but when i prime cores feal hears the kicker this is what im running the m5a99x motherboard corsair h80 water cooling 16gb gskill 750watt psu 2 his 5770 cross fired know my 750 psu the fan stoped i all ready rma it and so im useing a 550 for time being als im running a 750 gb for windows and a 1.5 tb for storage and 2 sata dvd burners and hard drive coolers and a asus n wireless card so i should be more than able to over clock well althrow its not a true water cooling kit and my temsp ant bad eather there farley low when i do prime when im close witch is 12 mins or less i dont get over 42c and this processor can go up to at least 64c and ya my processor be 955 i have know ideal what im doing when taht switched these bios to uefi bios so im last any one have the setting for it to get to at least 3.86ghz or give me a number to work off becaus ei jsut got the motherboard 4 or 5 days ago i can rma it back to newegg but the processor would have to go back to amd so tell me what going on im lost please and think u also email if u want lawrence.crandall@yahoo.com

One thing I've noticed with his board is that I have worse luck attempting to overclock my CPU with load line calibration enabled. I can get windows to boot with my X4 945 at 3.9 as well as 3.7ish but cannot seem to get it stable. I've messed with a lot of settings too including the CPU VDDA but just can't seem to get it working. Maybe try raising your CPU VDDA to 2.55 or 2.6 and see if that helps. You might also want to set the phase profile to extreme (full phase mode). That will ensure that all CPU power phases are working at full capacity.

I for one have given up on oc'ing my CPU for now and am working on everything else. I have my FSB at 270 and RAM running at 1800MHz with 8-10-9-23 timings. Gonna keep on going to see how tight I can get my timings and then get the voltage as low as possible. Then I think I'll work on HT link and NB frequency speeds before finally ending at oc'ing the CPU.

hello can any one tell how the setting with this baord with the 955 be with 1600 ram please im trying to get to 3.85 to 3.86 if possable please email back please ant hink u

any other tips please and think u i have use the turbo evo thing taht dotn help eather but what im trying to find out is it the board or processor or is it because the board gets better performince with the fx processors or is it jsut my luck than im getting a ****ty board or something u know but im still taking in all the possable out come

This board is a tuffy to overclock with all the "extras". I just got my 1090T to 4.12 today after a few hours of messing with it. Its finally stable.

ok i have been messing aroud with this board and i ahve to say its **** in a way or it jsut being a pain in the ass with me because it dosent seem like i have the best of luck with this board in overcloking i have mess with all setting and still nothing besdies a big head ack but im just starting to wonder if the board in someway shape or form is limiting me or if my ram is because when im on stock clock speed i can run 24hrs and no errors or cores stoping on me so im thinking if its the ram in some stupied way and i cant see it happing throw all throw it is gskill 1600 ddr3 but im wondering if its jsut becaus eim not running 1866 or what ever its called if tahts the problem i know its probley not so im guessing its the board limiting me in some stupied way

It took me a while to figure out voltages... but my 1090T on this board is running at 4.12.... its definitly possible...
