Thread Starter
Thank you all for your responses, I have popped her into my case and she's running quietly and beautifully on Bad Company 2.

Too scared to run furmark though, this old student house triggered the circuit breaker in my section of the house last time I ran prime95, and I have no access to the electrical box until September.

I've seen this before, it's just the stuff from the thermal pads i think.

Nothing to worry about, i've seen it before.
Great, this gave me a sigh of relief.

I have some arcticleaner I can use, but is it really necessary? I image cleaning is only for cosmetic purposes.

i had a Zotac 570 at launch and i sold it so i could get the 570 SOC

when i sold it i cleaned it up a bit first and noticed it had some sticky stuff on it as well

i dont remember it being there when i first got it so it must be something that develops over time

dont think it will cause any problems tho
