C300 Firmware Update ISO Burn Question

Thread Starter
I have burned the iso image to upgrade the firmware on my C300 to a DVD and even tried a CD. I can not get my PC to boot from my DVD drive.

Do you have to use a special software to burn an iso image to a DVD/CD in order to boot from the DVD/CD?

All I get is a message to put a bootable media into the DVD drive.

I tried to boot from my DVD with my Win7 CD and that works so the DVD drive is okay.

Nah I just used the built in windows utility to burn the ISO.

Swap your boot order in BIOS.

Are you sure the image is bootable? I use Power ISO which will tell you if it's bootable or not

So does this mean that the DVD I made is bootable?

I did swap my boot order and with all three; DVD, CD and USB all I got was a white message on a black screen to insert bootable media and press a key to continue.

For some reason it will not boot off the DVD, CD or USB that I made.
