Downloaded the CAP, installed it.

Allowed Crysis exception in AVG to prevent crashing. Ran .exe as Admin and under Vista SP2.

Still getting a very low average FPS. Its basically like Im running one card.....occasionally the cards will get up to 70-80% usage but most of the time they stay around 50-60

Did you turn off vsync? Turn it off.. that will solve you problem.

Im getting up to 80-90.........

Vsync has been off. The PROBLEM with the entire deal is

Vsync either being on or off

30 minimum FPS with an average of around 40-45. Thats with Vsync on EITHER setting. That is my problem. The cards technically can reach 70+ but it only happens occasionally and normally looking at the ocean or something.

Try DX9 mode (if you're not already using it).

Should give you a performance boost.

Wait up...got an interesting discovery......

I don't want to get into taking pictures and uploading and all that so I will explain. Closer in the beginning of the game you are coming down this mountain area when Prophet says blowing up the gas stations might be a good distraction. Its an enemy base surrounded by a mine field.

Along the dirt road that leads down the mountain path, I stopped and looked at the awesome detail on the mountains with trees overshadowing me and such. Around these areas I am getting 80 ish or more FPS. One spot I stopped was showing 137 while others were mostly around 90-100. I turn around to face the enemy base where nothing is going on, and my FPS drop to mid 30s.

My GPUs start rocking around 80% each and I actually got them up to 99 each (137 FPS). However when I turn to look at the enemy base, they drop to garbage. 40-55% each.

You do know Crysis, And Crysis Warhead are badly coded games right? Even with my 6990+6970 Tri-Fire I get from 45-75 fps most of the time @1080p, And 35-55 FPS @5760x1080. Overclocking your cpu should help alittle, But theres only so much you can do.

I would just figure adding a card would increase the minimum performance of the game. Even if it is coded bad, your telling me my minimum FPS shouldn't increase. I had a turret shooting at me from several hundred yards away and my FPS was mid 20s.

So I spent an extra 300 for that?

It's one badly coded game. Just one.

But if you wanna look at it that way, then yea you spent $300 for that.

No I would just figure that adding an entire 2nd card would at least increase my minimum FPS somewhat. But it didn't Im getting stuttering all over the place and just general poor performance.

Hell I downgraded the advanced tab to high. Same exact performance. Then I downgraded the tab to medium.....same stuttering....same 30-40 FPS....

I just went and tryed to played Crysis 1, And I was getting 20-60FPS with a lot of stuttering. I seen 30-35% of my gpu's being used. You can't get away from it being very badly coded, And not being made for crossfire. Crysis Warhead is better, Works out alot better with crossfire setup's. Do you have any other games you can try?
