Best you'll get is 5.9 raptor raid 0.

Or keep your 320gb for storage and pick up a nice $100~ 60gb SSD.

3rd Gen SSDs will get you a 7.9 in WEI, for whatever thats worth.

skip the 5770's, just not worth it anymore. waste of money imo.
try getting something from a 58.x.x series or get a gtx460 or two in sli.

With Balla on this one,60GB SSD and another matching disc for RAID storage if you really want to.I wouldn't worry about a gen3 SSD unless you are purely looking for high bench scores in some benchmarks.A Force F60 is a good one.

thanks for the fast replys all, here are my asnwes
1. i will never use Nvidia, unless they sent me there cards for free for life.. cant stand them

2. i currently have 2 5770s, and im skipping the 6 series and waiting for the 7s that are rumored in the fall, the 2 OCd 5770s i have are perfect for what im doing now.

3. i dont give a crap about windows rating. just performance.

and my PSU is an 850w Thermaltake Black Widow TR2 RX

heres what im thinking, this coming thursday im getting 16gs of Gskill ripjaw DDR3

2 thursdays after that im ordering this, unless i get a vialbe reason why i should order something different.

raptor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136296

X6 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103849

SSD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233177

i think this will complete me until BD and the 7 series are out. i really dont think ill need anything else, 150g HDD for storage is plenty, and ill use the current HDD (329g WD) for my minecraft server (u cans see that in my builds)

thoughts are welcome!

I got a seagate momentus XT the other day, and it's doing good. It's a hybrid SSD/HD, 4 gigs nand flash, 500 gigs HD, it learns your behavior and loads frequently used data into the nand flash for faster access times. I noticed a tremendous increase in performance, though I was upgrading from a WD 250g IDE drive...

The nand flash is single channel, not nearly as fast as a true SSD, but you don't have to sell a kidney to get one and don't have to worry about writing to the disc. Imo, it was worth the 110$ I spent on it (2.5" 7200RPM, mine scored 110 max 42 min 82 avg read speeds with access at ~1ms running HDtune 3 times). They are pretty fast in RAID too.

I've also heard good about spinpoint F3's if you're just looking for something faster. If you want to be unique, you could go with a Super Talent USB3 Raid flash drive. ~380M/s and it's literally plug&play if you have USB 3.0 ports and your BIOS/EFI supports USB boot.

that would be nice, except im looking for having everything inside the ase, not a fan of having things jut out the back, and i jsut got the enw Crosshair V so it has a ton of USB 3.0. like.. alot.. but like said, i would rather it be inside the case. so its clean and crisp, im looking for faster read speeds and a fast boot, because i am always tweaking and adjusting. so a faster boot is nice.

Latest gen SSDs will have the fastest boot times, one thing you could look into is PCI-E SSDs, as they are potentially faster but also more expensive. I know how you feel about having something jut out of your pc, I use a fast USB 2.0 for readyboost (just because I want to use it cuz it's there) and use a USB elbow and extender to run the cable inside of my case, where my drive is zip tied down. If you're after straight performance per dollar, I would say get 2x32GB OCZ Vertex3 drives in raid, or 2x64GB for faster and larger (I believe the 64GB has more channels than 32 but the same as 128 and 256, correct me if I'm wrong).
