Any experience with biostar? I'm kinda not so sure about that mobo. But it's the cheapest 800 series you could get.

Thanks for that. I love the PSU. A very decent one at a very cheap price.

Can't say that I have any experience with Biostar. But the reviews are relatively positive, and as you mentioned it's the cheapest 880 series chipset newegg offers, and nothing is refurbished or used/open box. You might be able to find an open box motherboard from a more reputable brand or just spend the extra money.

Side note, I need to stop doing these. The quad core for $89.99-$15 is really, REALLY tempting right now!

Actually my 635 is almost the same price when i got it about a year ago. Newegg doesn't even have a retail box that includes a stock fan for 635 but I found THIS

You'll save a PENNY by purchasing that heatsink fan

Keep in mind you live in California, so Newegg will charge tax on all your orders.

You can avoid this by shopping on Amazon.

Am I seeing that right, it comes with the free cooler?
I don't think you can use the promo code with that combo deal though it's usually not allowed. This then makes that combo deal entirely worthless. Much better to buy the CPU separately, apply $15 off promo code, and then buy the heatsink separately for $10. $5 saved. Sigh, Newegg likes to fool people sometimes

This isn't a bad setup given the budget and the total is under $300 without rebates-
Mobo
CPU
GPU
RAM
PSU

Your subtotal is $285. Not bad for what you are getting. The triple core is more than enough for HTPC use and light gaming and I believe the same can be said for the 5570. Everything else in this build is fairly straight forward.

I would wait for llano. Llano is an APU(accelerated processing unit) with Fusion( on die graphics). I know the E series an Radeon 6310 and llano will probably have better Radeon graphics The "A" series is marketed for 3 sectors with complete OEM build.$300-$400, $400-$500 and $500-$600. Obviously, the $300-$400 build falls into your category. The "A" series offers much better graphics that listed above and will be much better technology with much better computing power. The release is just a few weeks away as review samples has been shipped to reviewers. No more details can be given out due to an embargo on June 30th that is when the reviews hit the net. AMD is allowing us to tease you so be patient, I think the "A" series llano desktop version is what you are looking for.
