TrackMania Nations benchmark on AMD E350 laptop (HP DM1-3040CA)

This is a benchmark video of TrackMania Nations on an an HP Pavilion 11.6" AMD E-Series Dual Core E350 Laptop (DM1-3040CA)
11.6 inch screen @ 1366x768 resolution
AMD E-Series Dual Core E350. Dual core 1.6GHz processor
4GB DDR3 ram
AMD Radeon HD 6310M graphics
Windows 7 x64 Home Premium

I know that I could have used FRAPS to actually capture the footage, but I felt that the added workload that would have been needed to capture and save the video would decrease the performance of the game.

I'm open to comments on stuff I did right and stuff that I can improve on.

Thanks! biggrin.gif

I haven't really decided on anything yet but have thought of a few. I do however find that TrackMania isn't all of that a light game on laptops (hence why I decided to test it). I had a Athlon x2 1.9GHz combined with Radeon 3100M graphics in a Toshiba laptop and running at 1366x768 resolution with TMNF and it gave nearly unplayable FPS at lower settings than what I tested the E350 at.

Some next games that I may try out on it includes Unreal Tournament 3 and Left 4 Dead 2.

Hmm good. Maybe Portal 1 or some other Source game. Possibly even Halo 1?

Very nice. I have a 60GB OCZ Vertex2 here that being used in previous laptop. I plan on moving it over to the HP after about 3 months (I heard HPs like to die). On my previous laptop, the windows boot speed was tremendous with the SSD being added in.
