The Blue Cherry I have two of since it's my favorite keyboard.

The others are for the lulz and because I can.

Plus my son has been raised on Buckling Springs so he's as picky as I am. Plus I can always sell these and make enough profit to pay for his first year of college.

I just got my first Filco this week as well. I can't agree more with how fun it is to type on. That being said, the MX Brown switches are a lot quieter, lighter, and slushier than I expected, so I want to try out MX Blue switches now.

I actually prefer the browns, but that's just me. I liked the blues as well though, but thought the browns were better for gaming.

Oh absolutely I've already played a few games of SC2 with the Filco Brown and I think it'll be perfect. For general typing and browsing though, I think my keyboard would benefit from a hair more tactility. If you look at the force diagrams of the MX-Browns and MX-Blues, you see the blues do just this. Plus it's an excuse to get another Filco, this time with a numpad.

Again though, I love being able to type without bottoming out. The black alps on the AT101W require so much force to push through the tactility that you can't help but slam your key on the plate.

I just got my filco brown today too It is definitely very nice to type on ! I prefer it over the variable topre keyboard I used to have. I am able to sense some of that pinging sound that I've heard of but it isn't really a big deal at all.. I only really hear it if I'm looking for it and I usually have audio on anyways.

Really? I LOVE typing on my variable Topre more than anything else.. I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Anyways, once you go mechanical, you never go back
