need mobo/cpu/cpu cooler/ssd

Thread Starter
Looking to finish my build with a 2500k, but not sure what motherboard to get. I can't really tell if I should get a p67 or z68. I think whichever is cheaper would be fine since the extra features on z68 don't really matter to me? I don't live next to any microcenter so I can't get in on those combos.

I want to get a decent sized ssd, without it being too expensive. I want to play sc2/d3/bf3/l4d2 and some other games. Won't be doing much other than playing games on the comp. Trying to get these parts as cheap as possible while still having decent parts. I'm hoping to keep my budget below ~$400.

Intel Core i5-2500K ~$200
You could pick this up for around this price if you shop around a bit, or even cheaper if you buy it from one oft he local OCN'ers!

MSI P67A-G43 B3 ~$100
It is P67 and supports SLI/CFX @ x8/x8!

Cooler Master Hyper 212+
This makes for a REAL GOOD bang for the buck cooler!

Crucial M4 64GB ~$120
This is a very cheap, and very fast drive. It is known to be one of the fastest SSD's under a gaming workload and also takes advantage of the extra bandwidth provided by SATA 3!

I've installed a few CM Hyper 212+ coolers with ripjaws, which have taller heatspreaders than the Snipers. You'll be fine.

CPU+MOBO Combo

Not really sure how you gonna fit an decent size SSD in this and keep under $400 though.
