Here is a thread that will help you out with this board.

Hah, that's exactly the thread I used to figure out the P8P67-M Pro's arcane voltage settings. I'm getting these 80c+ overclock temps with ATV at .004 and CPU Offset at .005. And I'm getting 73c just at stock clock speeds using IBT, which seems quite high. Ugh!

If he downloaded the latest IBT its already packaged with the AVX libraries. Of course it depends on if he has SP1 installed also.

It still shouldn't be that hot, when I had my U9B I was maxing out at 80c with 4.8ghz.

Leave LLC off, and you can probably use the negative offset since your at stock.

Just to clarify though, are you running windows 7 with SP1? If so what version of IBT are you using? If its the latest then you have the AVX version. Try giving prime 95 small ffts a run for a couple minutes, let us know what your max temp is with that. Download CPU-Z also so you can see what voltage your chip is pulling.

what fan are you using on the cooler also?

Well now I have a much more serious problem. Computer just started freezing up shortly after booting into windows. Ran virus scan...got "busy" cursor, then it freezes. Tried to post here...get busy cursor, then it freezes. Reboot, and same behavior. Any thoughts as to what this might be? My only suspect is the SSD, but that's only because of the relatively high failure rate folks report with them. Ack...so frustrated!

Could just be that your ram defaults to unstable setting bro.

Try running ram at 1333 to eliminate the possibility that its the ram.

As for temperature problem, I would either

take out the backside fan and orient your cpu heatsink in horizontal manner if you can fit it

++++++++ like so
-------------- use your cases top fan for exhaust OR
++++++++

If your running normal vertical mode, then use the top fan for intake and use back fan for exhaust, so change the top fan so it sucks air in.
