ZALMAN cooling - a good choice??

Thread Starter
I'm think about buying a CPU cooler.
I came across some coolers from ZALMAN

http://www.zalman.com/ENG/product/Pr...ad.asp?idx=442
http://www.zalman.com/ENG/product/Pr...ad.asp?idx=350
http://www.zalman.com/ENG/product/Pr...ad.asp?idx=416

Which do u think is best?

Or is there anything else you would recommend??

If it has to be a Zalman, the CNPS11X would be the best. Otherwise the Hyper 212+ would be a cheaper choice and the Noctua D14 would cool better than both but it's also the biggest.

I was thinking about the Hyper 212+, but is it compatible with the 1155 socket?

You mean this one right?

the 212+ comes with some OK Cooler Master TIM.
I had better results once I switched to Arctic Silver 5.

Is it compatible with the LGA1155 socket?? And did you buy a second fan or the one is enough??
