help me with finding compatible games with intel 915GM graphic chip

hi guys!

right now I'm being hesitant at picking FORCE 16F2 from xoticpc, it's not that I'm questioning about quality (it's MSI...who can anyway? biggrin.gif) but I've found the true pictures of the MSI 16F2, it's really boring, not inspiring and plain comparing to the GT683R! performance is pretty exception I know! I mean don't get me wrong it's a good system, but I want looks when I take the laptop to my friends and lan parties! who knows if I'm getting laid because if the GT683R lights lol JK biggrin.gif

so I'm now allocating time and money for savings, until I reach $1600, and it's probably going to take 2 months!

right now I'm repairing my old HP DV1000 with a refurbished motherboard with Pentium M 2.00GHz (Dothan) and the GPU is intel 915GM! I'd be really appreciated if you can help me with list of compatible games to spend my free moments with NOTHING in my house except the TV until I get the right thing, old or low gaming quality doesn't matter drunken.gif

so far I've found two games that are compatible (minecraft and trackmania nations)

thanks in advance gentlemen drunken.gif

Any game from before 2002 should work.

My GMA 950 that I have in my netbook is slightly faster than that, and it sucks beyond belief.

^^^^^^

never thought about mmo's but it's a good idea to check whats up in there

they're pretty hardware intensive though rolleyes.gif

EDIT: maybe Metal Assault and maplestory will be a good additions, although I prefer offline games because the internet here can be instable sometimes!

ok maybe people here are not interested but for those who are I've just received my laptop and now it's working flawlessly! will be doing updates but here's the results for now!

keep in mind that the native screen resolution is 1280x768

trackmania worked at native resolution @21.5 fps (minimum)

Live for Speed worked at native resolution @16.8 fps (low) and @26 fps with 800x600

drift city worked at 1024x768 @26.fps (medium)

GTA:SA worked at 800x600 @30fps (low) and can drop down sometimes but still playable

*old game* midtown madness 2 worked at native resolution @45~55 fps (MAXED)

will be updating soon for more smile.gif

I guess you could try solitaire, maybe you should get a decent fps.biggrin.gif (j/k)
Now seriusly,if you want informative answer, maybe you could also tell genre are you looking for.
but heres a short list what as i'm recall worked with a 950(almost the same chip):
FEAR at lowest settings could get decent fps
quake 3
warcraft 3
starcraft
red alert 1-2
C&C ,Tiberian sun(both free now)
Red Faction
Diablo
baldurs gate
icewind dale

ok! I've got bad news! this thing passed my expectation! CS1.6 won't work decently with online gameplay! very choppy and lots of stutters! I even got the "kicked and banned" due to the high ping almost touching 300ms! they really pissed me off though with the ban thing confused.gif
