im thinking about buying it. you can apparently use 2 totally different gpu's. it got some really solid reviews but i'm still worried about compatibility. I have a 1055t cpu with a 212+ cooler, 8gb ddr3 1333, and an xfx 6970. I would like to crossfire eventually. what attracted me to this board is the fact that I'm switching over from a gtx 560ti which isnt even 90 days old. im kind of at a crossroads at to what to do. do i sell my 560 and buy a normal board ? give this one a shot ? (a 560ti and a 6970 running together if it works sounds pretty good to me) any help would be appreciated. i have been offered a decent price for the 560 already and have been offered a very nice am3 board as well. your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

this is my current board, you can see why i'd like to upgrade. power phasing is poor and not crossfire capable. I can't get this to take me past 3.5 which is terrible even with my limited oc'in knowledge.

Lucid Hydra doesnt scale nearly as good as SLI or XFire, especially when using two different GPUs. You would of course get better performance than using only one of your GPUs, but unless you can find someone else with the exact same setup, its very hard to say how good the scaling would be. And also, like with SLI and XFire, the performance is very much dependant on drivers, and I dont know how good and frequently updated the Lucid Hydra drivers are.
I also considered one of the MSI Fuzion boards some time ago and came to the conclusion that its "too risky" and bought a normal board instead. And thats still what I would do.
