Yeah... clamp down the heatsink. It needs to be very tight on the bracket. If it's not, it's likely overheating, causing your problem.

TBH I'm such a noob I don't know what's hot and cold, so I will write them down, also linkin93, I believe your right, as I was cleaning I unseated the CPU fan/heatsink to clean the heatsink, the fan is a pain in the ass to clamp down, theres like these 4 twisty things on the corners, I can manage two in but the left two are flimsy, it stays on the cpu but im wondering if they are broken :S...
dude

If you're sure it's not your PSU then this is your problem

With the HWmonitor keep your eyes on 'value' which is your current temperature, and "max" which is your highest.

I would make an attempt on fully clamping it down!

Uploading SS now, I'm going to download my AMD drivers again... If the problem starts with them again I will let you know... also The minimum tempuratures with the HW monitor were acheived only when I had every fan full blast. TOP exhaust, back two, 3 front intake...

I misread. My bad. You meant on OCN on the interwebs.

Do you have a spare PSU to try? Unless you prove that you tested another PSU and the problem still occurs them we are going to keep suggesting.

That's the thing, I fittled with it for like 20 minutes, i think the clamps are broken, theres this little mettle thing in the middle of the left two which is always down, looks like a pencils lead. I'm not sure guys, I had this thing on there like that the first time I cleaned it (2010 October-December)...

You should have stated an incorrectly installed heatsink in the OP. That could cause your computer to turn off. Logical.

Correctly installed heatsinks are important.
