The block is fine, just looks like you have radiator flux or debris in your loop. No need to soak it in cleaner, just use a toothbrush to clean it. Same thing will happen with any fine micro fin block. I use a Alphacool filter inline now to prevent this.

That's what i thought, i was just wondering since i upgraded to an thicker rad and my temps did not drop. Then that would be an pump issue if I'm correct.

Also was looking to upgrade atm looking at the swiftech rebranded d5 and the koolance 370

If your just cooling your CPU and temps don't increase and you buy the Koolance 370 then yes Id say it would be the pump. Also nice block choice planning to get one myself.

I would try a pump first. It will give you better flow ATM. The stock pump starts to fall off once you start adding all kinds of connectors and rads. You can use a XSPC D5 res or DDC res in place of stock X20 pump res.

If anything, get the speed adjustable D5. You can control the flow and noise that way.

FYI, the Swiftech pumps loose warranty if you take it apart.
