i agree, being able to run my ram at cas7 would be amazing. but frankly, not gonna happen. im running 16gb no way thats gonna be stable.

i was comparing my ram to 16gb kits mainly, but even corsair's top of the line dominator gt 8gb kits are as good as if not slightly worse than this. that is surely saying something since they are only 8gb kits

Even so in general higher frequency rated ram is easier to get tight timings with lower frequency/voltage.
out of interest what does your gtx ram score in everest/aida64?

also if you know of a better ram benchmark tell me please

according to this, there is no real difference from 1333 and 2133 except for 7-zip/winrar.

Nice dig at Corsair but I love my Vengeance RAM. 1600MHz at 8-8-8-24 is plenty for me...

although not amazing, the higher frequency ram comes out top on most things. I was buying a new computer and wanted the best i could get. I also wanted 16gb. This seemed to fit the bill.

dude thats insane. Did you have to really increase volts to get there? how was your cooling. Cant believe you got that at 1t.

just upped my frequency a bit more yesterday but i had to up the latency. Im running it now at: 2196@ 9-11-10-28

do you think i could get more out of these or is that about my limit? bearing in mind i am running 16gb

my everest score said it was better than my previous settings so i thought i may as well stick with it

each to their own I was looking at corsair before i found this and i was in deibelief at how a brand most people would put below corsair has made ram which technically, as far as 16gb kits go is better. I mean, do they even make ram which goes 2133+ apart from the gtx series? Im not sure. Fair enough the g skill ones require 1.65v though.

do you think it is likely that i will get higher overclock than this with my setup?
havent been able to find anything stable which yields a higher score. I may have been able to get higher if i say only had 8gb but for 16 i think thats pretty good

not sure why each give different results

Nope. I agree.

FPS shows no increase from 1333Mhz RAM to 2000Mhz RAM.

Gaming doesn't get much performance increase, pretty much anything else does though.

Those were just cooled with the stock heatsinks on air @ 1.72v, they are hyper ICs though & getting hard to find. You might be able to squeeze more out of yours, don't know about with 16Gb, I've had a 6Gb 1600Mhz PSC kit up to 2400Mhz 9-11-9.
