So, I built my PC, everything installed correctly, but when I insert my DVi cable, I don't get a signal, I have the Motherboard drivers in the CD drive, but I don't get a signal, I thought I was supposed to get a 640x480 display show up on my screen, but I don't, My motherboard doesn't have onboard graphics, My Video Card runs perfectly without my PSU cables in it(Tested it out, They're inside all the time) I really need help, please, I don't really feel like paying a Tech Guy $100 for hours work.

Plug in your video card cables.
Make sure all connections are secure of course.
Make sure all the standoffs are properly installed.

If your PSU is modular, make sure you didn't plug both ends of a cable to itself .

Is it only your monitor not giving a picture? Are the system booting otherwise?

Maybe you have to enter the monitors menu and select to use DVI, if it somehow are defaulted to VGA or are auto detecting wrongly.

Clear the CMOS (unplug the power cord take out the battery for a couple minutes)

Only use the essentials to boot ie. one stick of ram, cpu, hdd, gpu cooler obvisouly and try again.
