if anyone have a woo or hd650 shoot me a pm
that is a good choice altough the woo audio amps are all hand soldered which to me is a little old world

the HD 650 is probably the king of entery level cans

if you are going mega bucks try to find Sony Qualias OMG

For people on a budget, woo audio is a bad choice. Most of the stuff they use are made in China, and they are much more expensive than what they actually offer (compared to other tube amps).

wow i got my new amp and headphones today. the hifiman he-4 headphones are amazing. the detail is crazy, a open sound , nice bass slam not muddy at all, highs are nice a clear, voices are so clear and natural. when i had the he-4 connected to the little ef2 amp the highs where a little bright, but when i got the new amp today the ef5 everything was much better and the little brightness i was hearing is gone now.

the he-4 is there cheapest headphones cant imagine what the he-6 sounds like. people all where saying these headphones are better then the sennhiesser hd600 and hd650. i owned a pair of the senn hd650 and i also agree. it hard to discibe sound you need to try a pair of these headphones yourself.

if anyone is looking for a great setup take a look at the hifiman ef5 - he4 combo deal they have.

I find that Woo Audio is expensive in terms of what they achieve. However, they definitely won't disappoint.
As for pairing amps with HD650, it's dark and needs something to brighten it.
Most recommend:
-Lehmann Black Linear
=Lovely cube (copy of the lehmann black linear, and its cheaper)
-Little Dot Mk III/IV
-Schiit Valhalla
-Grace M902
-Beta22 (DIY)
-Darkvoice 332 (If you can find one)

If you happen to go for the little dot I could help you if you with tube rolling.
