Bad customer service? Overpriced products, if so for what reason? Don't like the logo? Ect.
Just want to know your guys thoughts
Razer tends to make garbage, overpriced products. They put in very cheap parts and they tend to break down just after the warranty is up.

Of course, they market the crap out of their products so uninformed people still tend to buy them.

As you research longer and longer into this hobby you learn that there are certain companies you stay away from, ocz, razer, anything with fatali1y on it, etc.

Fair enough.
I do believe the Mech keyboard was the thing that I have researched the least so far, I've read that guide on this website to Mech keyboards and some reviews and that's about it.

Hopefully the thing one won't break on me, because I likeeeeee it so far.

Don't listen to that guy, he clearly doesn't know what he is talking about.

Every company has a love/hate group. I've owned all kinds of Razer products and I believe every single one of them (except the Ironclad mousepad) was worth every penny.

What is wrong with OCZ? The "fw" issues' that was fixed with the SSD's, and wasn't their fault? Why didn't he add Corsair to that list???? If he wants to talk about Razer or OCZ at that, add Corsair to it.

OP -- Just research what you want, try to test out your products and then buy. I have a blue theme with my setup and I love the ergonomics with Razer products.

They don't make garbage, just the people using their products and call them bad are garbage

If you want to see another reason for not buying razer, just check this post in another razer thread I was in:

Deathadder - USB cable was loose to the mouse and would randomly turn off if I pulled on the cord slightly. After a year the mouse died completely. Its finish also started to rub off and feet came off as well.
Naga - Any time I would pick up the mouse, the cursor would move down....
Razer Barracuda head phones - Average sound, microphone stopped working after the first month, LED's would randomly go off and on, and left speaker died after four months.

After my Naga and Barracuda died I picked up a Logitech G9X and Audio Technica ATH-AD700 headphones. Best discussion and purchase ever.

If your looking for a nice Mechanical keyboard Deck Legends are fantastic. I purchased my Deck Legend Ice a couple of months ago and I love the thing. It is kinda expensive but its worth it imo. Thing is built like a tank!

The best thing to do is research the product your into heavily. And don't just do it on a single site. Also, no matter what, never just trust into a brand name like a lot of people like to do. The name on a product doesn't make it free of issues, doesn't matter who makes it. Regardless of brand name research the product.

Also, keep an eye out for the type of information your reading into. For example a reasonable person will list the pros and cons of a product. They will also provide facts about the product and not let personal preference affect their review. If you see a review on a product and its either all bad or all good, disregard it and move on. Likely, its either someone that hates the brand or is a fanboy.

The majority of anti Razer threads here are for the most part baseless. Just someone gets upset because a mouse went bad on them. That can happen with any company, but when its Razer, people over exaggerate the issue. You will see, if there is a problem with Logitech or Steelseries (around OCN anyway), people will approach it and be more sensible like, yeah sometimes **** happens, try a return. If the product is Razer though, it gets bashed to the ground, and you will be told to avoid Razer like its a hot chick with AIDS.

Razer is like every other company, none of their products are 100% free of issues. Nothing is, everything gets returned by some for one reason or another. To make general statements like Razer fails more then Logitech/Steelseries/etc. Is really ignorant, we just don't have access to the proper information to judge. You can't go by something like well, I saw 5 razer problem threads on OCN and only 2 logitech ones, so that must mean logitech has better quality. No it doesn't, it means absolutely nothing, in the bigger picture, these forums are like a needle in a haystack.

Exactly, I was very skeptical about getting the Black Widow Ultimate because people said the space bar would cause problems with the right alt key but I got the keyboard today and everything works 100% fine. Sometimes you just gotta try the product out first.

I have the BWU and the Deathadder. For the last 6 months nothing but clickity clack goodness and a very smooth/nice feeling mouse. Every company has a few bad apples, and of course word of mouth on this site blew most of that completely out of proportion. The majority of people who use Razer products have great luck. Congrats on your purchase.

Unless there is nothing good about a product. Some products just need to be dissed.

EDIT: Not saying that about these products.
