Does your MB have LLC? If so, how many levels?

Try setting your bios voltage at 1.41 with LLc enabled, that would give you a load voltage of roughly 1.39v which would be an increase in your CPU voltage under load, this should fix your issue I think...

Yes, it does have load line calibration if I remember correctly...but I have no idea how any of that stuff works and don't feel too comfortable changing it. Generally I just increase the multiplier and the CPU voltage to reach my desired CPU clock.

LLC works by reducing the amount of Vdroop, vdroop is a drop in voltage when the CPU is under load. LLC helps by reducing the Voltage needed at idle (reduces temps at idle as well) and lowers the variance between "load" and "idle" voltages so you know that what you set it in bios is close to what the volts will be under load.

If your not comfortable with adjusting LLC, I understand and wouldn't want to push you out of your comfort zone...
Bah, LLC is not needed. OP: Turn LLC to 1/2 an increase vcore to 1.5v. Check for stability, reduce vcore as needed. I've found, once getting the right voltage, this will give me the same overclock with less voltage and lower temps.

After my last voltage bump, I blue-screened on BFBC2 with the stop-code 0x0000009c. Haven't messed with any other settings.

Raise your NB frequency to 2600-2800 and raise your NB volts to around 1.2-1.3, I know it's a big difference but you can go higher too. Make sure your HT is set at 2000.

If that doesn't fix it, add more NB volts to a maximum of around 1.4v, then try adding more cpu volts. Max safe voltage I believe is around 1.55 but some people go as high as 1.6v, but I doubt that is on air.

The most important thing is to keep a check of your temps, I see you have an H50 so your temps should be pretty good with the above settings.

Hey dude just swap the RAM for some other sticks and see what happens.

What is the name of the error and the full error code.Is it something like "IRQL not less or equal" or what ?!
Disable the restart at BSOD, make a picture with your phone then post here.

I have reboot on BSOD disabled, just didn't take a photo. I don't recall there being anything about the IRQL message. I won't be able to re-create the problem until later today, but I'll definitely get a photo of that.

As for RAM modules, I don't have spares and don't exactly want to fork out the money for another set. If I end up getting another hard drive and going with Win7 I'll order another set of the same RAM so I can go from 4gb to 8gb, but that won't be for a while.

Anyways, I've been running a 4.0GHz overclock ever since I got the CHIV, with my CPU voltage at 1.45. Everything has been fine except sometimes my computer will randomly reboot while playing BFBC2. I'm told this is due to the overclock, and under normal clocks this doesn't happen so I would consider that confirmed.

I have all the usual crap in BIOS turned off for overclocking purposes, multiplier(20x) and CPU voltage are pretty much the only things I've touched in there for the actual overclock. I bumped my CPU voltage up one step, still had the problem, bumped it up another step, still had the problem.

Should I bother going any higher on the core voltage? I haven't hit 1.46v yet, temps aren't a problem but I don't want to throw more power at my CPU if it doesn't need it. The reboot during BFBC2 is the only problem I've ever had with this rig in the last year, and that only happens when overclocked...I'm hoping I can resolve this without having to downclock.
I'm not 100% sure, but I have this issue with my system throwing 3.7Ghz With BFBC2. I think both of our CPU's has C2 stepping, which sadly holds back so much for Black edition's. But, the happy thing is, that I can unlock to a X4 B50 with the Right Board, and Overclock a bit. I'm just trying to decide to get a Core i3 if I don't get the job I applied to, Or if i get it, and Then I'll work for about a month and have enough to get a i5-2500k Build for 800$, and some have said even cheaper, like 650$...
