Xonar DG + Zalman ZM-MIC1 Microphone Boost Help

Hello, I've been using the Xonar DG for a couple weeks now due to Simca's awesome guide . I bought it mostly for listening to music and while it kills my onboard sound for listening it kinda sucks in comparison to the onboard for recording. I'm currently using them with a pair of Superlux HD668B and mostly just play Team Fortress 2. With the onboard I could just turn the microphone boost up +30dB and have it hanging down by my chest while talking normally. With the Xonar DG I have to hold it in front of my mouth or talk fairly loud. I've already enabled the microphone boost within the Xonar DG and fiddled with the settings but haven't been able to find anything that turns the sensitivity up enough. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks .

bump for you. Anybody ? Sorry, not much help here, am intersted though. Have DG but not currently using it. When I was I didn't use the mic much and didn't notice any issues and didn't mess with mic settings in the Asus control panel at all.

Off topic: How do you like those HD668B Superlux's ? Saw some talk on Head-Fi awhile back about them. Someone over there mentioned best headphone for <$150, that's a pretty bold statement for a $40 pair of knock offs !!

I think they sound phenomenal. I use Andy Mckee's Gates of Gnomeria album for my headphone testing. Compared to my pair of PortaPros and HD555 I think the separation is better in the Superluxes. They are quite possibly the least comfortable pair of headphones I own, the pleather makes my head sweat and the clamping force is rather painful since I'm bespectacled. I've had them stretching over my computer case for a couple weeks and they're still too tight. Now if only I can get my pesky microphone to work, I wouldn't have to sound like Leonidas in my house.
