These guys are putting their entire reputation on the line to come out with this. Seeing actual game developers make this statement is much more powerful than your average Joe player. I'm hoping this will push FPS games forward instead of keeping them stagnant.

Cracking down on the entire worldwide FPS genre and putting your money where you mouth is. A massive risk, and I have to respect them for that.
Are you kidding me? Wo gais, some crap Chineese developer put deir ENTIRE REP ON DA LINNNEEEE holy crap!!1 It must therefore be a deep, serious, insightful critique of modern FPSes!

Of course they don't try to hide it, The Solider and The Rocket trailers are quite similar.

But they're trying to profit from it.

They won't though.
Valve will most likely crack down on this fairly quickly anyhow.

No, they won't. This is Chinese. Valve will make no attempt to persecute them, and even if they do, nothing will happen.

Seriously. This whole talk or idea of this being some deep insight into the way FPS games are in America is hilarious.

Apparently they are to you, considering you've read way too much into this and think some no-name dev is now making a "powerful statement" and that they're "going for the jugular".

It's a lazy dev in China capitalizing on all the F2P games that work off micro-transactions. Those types of games are huge in that region. Theres absolutely nothing more to it than that.
