Thread Starter
I have an extra Total War Shogun 2 code for Steam and giving it to whoever help me overclock my CPU to 3.8 GHz or even 3.6 GHz and I will PM you the code.

How it works:

PM me the Bios settings and I will try it and run 1-2 hour stability test and once it works and system proves to be satble then I will PM you the code within 24 hours.

System:

CPU: Phenom X6 1055T (HDT55TFBGRBOX)
MOBO: GA-890FXA-UD5
RAM: 8 GB PGV38G1333ELK
CPU Cooler: Corsair A70 (Not H70)

Rest of the spec can be found in my profile.

Here is the proof that I have the voucher unused:

overclocking isn't really as simple as getting settings from somebody and applying them. Every chip and board will take different settings to get it stable.

Start out by lowering your ram speed down one notch, then up your FSB by 5mhz intervals until you become unstable, at which point you will probably need to add some CPU voltage and make sure your NB isn't going too fast, you want that at 2500mhz or higher. You might need to add a little bit of voltage to the NB too.

Set FSB to 287, cpu multiplier at x14 - cpu NB multi at x10, or x11 if you're feeling frisky.

HTT multi at x7 - change your ram divider to x5

Set cpu vcore at 1.52v, set cpuNB (not NB) to 1.35v, set vram to 1.68v, change keep timings on auto.

Oh wait you said lower...

Ugh...

3.6...

Set FSB to 258

Set CPU mutli to 14

Set vcore to 1.4v

Set cpuNB multi to x10

Set cpuNB voltage to 1.28v

Set HTT multi to x8

Set HHT volts to Auto

Set Dram divider to x6/x5

Set Dram voltage to 1.7v/1.65v

Set Dram Timings to Auto

I think that should do it. Turn off Spread Spectrum if your mobo has the option as well.

Raise your LLC to that it keeps close to 1.4v under load.
