Koolance Rad/Shroud Assembly Kit?

Thread Starter
I've had to put off my W/C setup for a bit, but I'm gearing up for the final push to epic cooling. My original setup would have used an XSPC RS360 hanging off the back of my case, but I'm a little iffy about that. I looked around and found this guy:

http://www.koolance.com/water-coolin...roduct_id=1163

Basic plan would be to drop it on the top of my P193 (cutting stuff out of the way, of course), but does anyone have experience with these kits? Is the rad decent? I'll only be cooling my CPU, so I assume if I can fit 3x AP-15s in it, I'd be alright. I assume I'm going to need a rivet gun and possibly some other tools to get the job done, so if anyone has experience a list would be helpful as well (if not, I'll probably ask at the case section).

Edit: Should probably mention the one I'm looking at uses an HX-1020 rad.

Don't entirely know what that means, but I assume I should get a better rad. Which means I could get this and add a rad?

Copper is probably the most common waterblock base material.

Copper and aluminum don't mix. Bad things happen if you have them in the same loop! D=

yes i know you like that shroud ..i do to ,i spend good two hours yesterday trying to explain that mixed metals in your loop are bad ,get the RAD of your choice, if it's to thick just mount it on opposite side of the fan/shroud housing, just like Lazyman does

RS series RADs are old and outperform by most this days,if you like XSPC ..get RX series

EDIT; i was just looking at your case..you will probably need good powerful fan on the back for intake see if you can fit this RAD

You know koolance sells that shroud without all of the crap that comes along with it, ie the awful aluminum radiator. It's here and super cheap ($35).

I'll look into that rad, but I was planning on having the fans on top as intake, blowing through the rad. Passive exhaust, much like I have it now. Theoretically, pressure level should stay more or less the same. I'd have to do some testing, but I think I have enough intakes even if I want the air going up, especially since I can take my DVD drive out and just use an external enclosure. I currently have 4x AP-15 on the front of my case as intake (two of them are "stacked" about 6" apart in the middle HDD drive cage area) and the 200mm side fan as intake. I'll just have to wait and see what gives me best temps, though.

Yes, I had linked that in the 3rd post.

The XSPC radiators?
They are copper.
Or at least I'm pretty sure.
