The Koolance rad is aluminium. It isn't a good idea to mix aluminium with other metals in a loop. You can get just the shroud part for $35 and a very nice 360 rad for $100.

ummm i made an external if that counts using the shells from koolance.



If you stack 2 bases, you have enough clearance on a almost any radiator sideways.


If your talking about the top shell alone:

If you do change your plan and decide to do a complete external...
Make sure u pick up these:




then you can put a switch on the back of the external and have it be on its own power.
