Antec DF-85

Anybody using this case? I'm thinking about getting it for my next build. It comes with a whopping 7 fans, with an optional 8th one over the video cards.

I'm not very fond of LEDs...can you turn all of them off? I found the user's manual online but it only mentions that you can turn off two of the LEDs...doesn't specify for the rest. This is going to be sitting on top of my massive wooden desk next to my two monitors so I'd like to avoid being blinded by red LEDs while gaming (or sleeping!).

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129087

User's manual: http://www.antec.com/pdf/manuals/DF-...anual%20EN.pdf

I'm also open to swapping out the LED case fans for non-LED ones, but the video on the Newegg page makes it seem like changing the front fans would be a problem...they seem routed neatly through tight spaces.

I like the case! Hey man, reviews tell it all... I also like 600t (white-can add loads of fans) but That Antec is pretty nice.

Bump. This seems like the perfect case, but I'm still unsure about the LEDs and whether or not they can be turned off. The three front fans and the top two fans both have speed control, but I'm only seeing LED on/off for the top two.

I'm definitely going to add a side fan...I'm going SLI so I'll need all the airflow I can get.

It would appear you cannot turn off the LEDs. According to the newegg reviews at least and a review I found.

How would you guys set up the fans for best airflow? I'm thinking about getting a Corsair H60, so the radiator could be fitted to one of the two top 120mm spots or one of the two rear 120mm spots.

Three front intake fans, but I think the bottom one will be blocked by a hard drive or two. I guess the middle one flows through the "GPU duct" to cool the video cards, and the top front one is just for added airflow.

How you said it would be fine. For the side fan do you mean intake? That's what I would do.

Mount it at on of the rear spots, as an exhaust setup (fans blowing out). Also, the haf x is also a very good case but to my experience the haf 932 is one of the best cases in terms of looks/airflow. I have a Haf x, and it cools not as good as the 932 but it looks so much more sleek. But if you want the best in terms of airflow get the 932.

Here's some suggestions on some good cases in airflow/expandability:

But of course if you want the df-85, go for it, it's still a great case

I second that choice Great space inside the case, and good fan management.
